The purpose of Uptown
Kids is to lead children to Christ by discovering and utilizing the
spiritual gifts of each child, then helping them develop into strong
leaders, and teach the truths of God through interactive Bible lessons
(Matthew 28:17).
It is important for the weekly Bible lessons
to be multidimensional. Each lesson needs to reach children who are
Christians, but also reach those who are not. The goal of each service
is not to lecture, but to teach and inspire through ways that interest
the children.
